And what you may have been seeing about it floating around the internet may be…inaccurate, in my humble opinion. Relics from the before-times.

In the days of yore (B.C., meaning before COVID), 5/5 was usually billed as the metaphysical day of the moneymaker. Abundance rituals. Manifestation ~mavens~. Prosperity rites. And this always confused me, because numerologically…it doesn’t really make sense.

Now, listen: I do not understand numbers in the way calculus wants me to understand them. This has caused me much undue suffering in my academic life. However, I do feel numbers in a…different sort of way. The energetic way.

So sometimes, at least to me, one of the best ways to get a ‘feel’ for a number’s energy is to look at its structure.

The Energy of No. 5 🎲

Looks pretty stable, yeah? Four weighted corners with one pillar in the middle?

Ah, but that’s the sneaky trick of Five: that one little dot in the middle is everything—it’s not like the rest. For a reason.

Within the seemingly stable structure of the number itself, there’s a rogue aspect with 5. Loyal…up to a point. Constantly moving within its container. A deep need to be free and expanded. Five isn’t necessarily the moneymaker…but it is the changemaker.

And that’s why this particular portal day can feel so intense. You’re standing on the threshold of a new doorway. Your body feels it. Your mind senses it. Your spirit wants to pull you over it.

The friction is in the pause. And believe me when I say I understand the reasons for feeling frozen on the doorstep right now. Chaos, discontent, and disruption feel like the norm in our everyday. Something we’re constantly being made to process without consent, which of course eventually breeds resentment towards changes of any kind.

This is asking something different of you, though. Leave the world be. It is always going to be undergoing changes of all kinds. As I often say, the ‘safest’ thing to believe in is change itself. It’s the only real constant in the Universe. Bet on things changing.

And then bet on yourself that no matter what, you can integrate these changes. Because I’ll clue you in on a little secret: you already have a 100% survival rate for all the changes and shifts you’ve already experienced.

More experience = more resilience = more wisdom = better skills to play the game.

And you know what? You deserve to consciously disrupt the patterns of your own life; to transmute it into an experience that’s radically different from what you’ve become accustomed to receiving before.

Master Numbers: Double the Dose 5️⃣/5️⃣

So the whole ‘obsession’ with these so-called ‘angel’ (master) numbers is rooted in the concept that repeating numbers compress and condense energy, increasing the power of vibration. Essentially, the easiest way I can explain that is the whole ‘to the power of’ concept in mathematics. 5 to the power of 2 isn’t 10. It’s 25. Yeah. Even more than you bargained for.

So this isn’t simple doubling. It’s pure amplification of energy. And what happens when you amplify a certain energetic frequency? Let me put my metaphysician’s hat (definitely a witch hat, you already know) off to the side for a moment and put on my biologist / physicist’s cap (B.Sc. Purdue) so I can show you how real this actually is.

Welcome, fellow travelers, to the LIMINAL.

Derived from the Latin limen (threshold), a liminal space is a place or state of transition, representing the "in-between" or a threshold between "what was" and "what’s next."

A place that we’re actually in all the time. We just don’t realize it, so focused on arriving where we’re planning on going or leaving where we’ve been.

But that’s the kicker, isn’t it? Why we feel so disoriented and dissatisfied in the seeming ‘middle’ place. I have a secret to share with you:

there is no beginning, no middle, and no end. it’s just infinite lives lived in different dimensions that flip-flop on top of each other for eternity.

That freaks some (most?) people out. To me, it’s the most freeing piece of universal wisdom I was ever given. I felt like I finally had a permission slip to not take myself (or anyone or anything else) so seriously if I didn’t want to.

That’s another thing, though. Wanting to (or not.) And I’m going to use this perfectly excellent moment to slide in a quote from one of my favorite series to date, Rick and Morty (this will absolutely not be the last time I pull from there):

“You may be the single dumbest human I’ve ever met, Jerry, but you still have a right to take whatever you want seriously.”—S6:E5.

That’s the key. It’s time to wake up and play the game of Life™️

You were unconsciously programmed by society to believe that you have zero control over your own life experience because as long as you believe it, the structure that we’ve all clearly outgrown can continue the same way it has for all this time, with the same sorts of people in power, the same inequities, and the merry-go-round spins on. Perpetrators can only exist if there are victims. And most of us are comfortable in predictable misery of the prescribed victimhood.
